DIRECTORS & SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM:

Andrew Beckett - Director

In April 2005, Andrew jointly founded Regency IT Consulting. Andrew is responsible for Sales, Contracts, Security Consultancy and Managed Services.

Andrew has extensive experience in Information Security, specialising in secure government IT systems. Prior to forming Regency IT Consulting, Andrew headed the Information Security practice for a medium sized management consultancy based in the Midlands. He has previously worked with the International Civil Service in The Hague where he was Head of the Office of Confidentiality and Security for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Andrew has also occupied a senior role within CESG, the UK National Technical Authority for Information Security, where he was branch head responsible for InfoSec consultancy and Penetration Testing. Andrew has provided Information Security, Risk Assessment and IS architecture advice to numerous government departments including the Home Office, Cabinet Office, the Intelligence community, MoD, HM Treasury and FCO. Andrew is well versed with HMG Infosec Standards and ISO 17799 being a certified Lead Auditor.

Andrew Emery - Director

Andrew jointly founded Regency IT Consulting in April 2005. Andrew is responsible for Finance, Technical Assurance & Project Management Consultancy.

Andrew is an experienced consultant with a wide range of skills which vary from Solutions Architecture to Service Delivery and Management. Andrew’s core skills include Business and systems Analysis; system design; and Technical Assurance; all backed with implementation success. Andrew founded Regency IT Consulting having worked for a major provider of Consultancy and Technology Services for nearly 9 years as a Senior IT Consultant. Andrew can demonstrate a successful implementation capability across a wide range of complex projects and programmes in both Government and the Private sectors. This is supported by his recent experience working with the Vetting and Barring Scheme, The National DNA Database, the Criminal Records Bureau and Criminal Justice IT.

Will Deane - Chief Technology Officer / Principal Security Consultant

Will joined Regency IT Consulting in July 2006 from an international telecommunication provider where he worked as a senior security engineer within a government secure hosting department. Will is a CLAS consultant specialising in the technical aspects of Information Security. Regency IT Consulting is supporting Will in his studies for his MSc in Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. His main areas of interest include Internet and network security, designing security architectures, vulnerability assessment and management, Protective Monitoring, IDS and cryptography.

Patrick Feast - Principal Consultant - Project and Programme Management

Patrick joined Regency IT Consulting in August 2006 from an international telecommunication provider where he worked as a Project Manager. Patrick is a proven professional with 14 years experience in IT/Telecoms, 5 of which have been specialising in Public Sector Government Secure IT Hosting. Patrick’s experience covers a range of management disciplines including Bid & Supplier Management, Project and Programme Delivery and Supplier Transitioning. Patrick has successfully delivered across a wide range of technologies, to a diverse client base, within the Private & Public Sectors. More recently Patrick has worked as a Consultant within Government, taking the lead on a Programme of work for Criminal Justice IT.

Dave Jamieson - Head of Security Consultancy

Dave joined Regency IT Consulting in January 2007. He is a CLAS Consultant, ISO27001 Lead Auditor and PRINCE2 Practitioner. Dave has extensive experience in IT Security having headed Security Practices in other companies. Dave started his security career with an apprenticeship of 24 years in the Army, working in Intelligence and Security roles throughout his career. He became a CLAS Consultant and Lead Auditor in 2001 and since 2002 has specialised in supporting Criminal Justice clients. He has also undertaken work for the private sector, MoD and a number of other central Government departments.

Paul Harding - Head of Accreditation Managed Services

Paul joined Regency IT Consulting in August 2007 from the National Policing Improvement Agency where he was the National Accreditor for Police Systems. Prior to his position as National Accreditor, Paul was the Information Assurance Manager for the Hampshire Constabulary. He has extensive experience of accreditation within the criminal justice environment and at a pan government level. Paul’s knowledge of the criminal justice sector is supported by his previous thirty year career as an operational police officer.
